Return To Self

My Final Major Project explores resort wear through a sustainable design approach.

My project is inspired by self-connection, well-being, and personal hobbies. It follows the narrative of a woman at a resort and her daily activities. Outfit 1 is her daytime look, perfect for walking or meditation sessions. Outfit 2 is designed for relaxing and sunbathing by the beach or taking a dip in the water. Outfit 3 is an evening dress intended for dining at a nearby restaurant. Finally, Outfit 4 is worn at the end of the day: a comfortable nightwear set.

This collection utilizes zero-waste pattern cutting in Outfits 1 and 3 and is dyed entirely using natural dyes such as indigo, madder, and goldenrod. The garments are made exclusively from natural fabrics, including linen, bamboo, and cotton.
