This brief was focused on researching and understanding fashion designers' style and aesthetic and designing based on a chosen designer aesthetic. I was inspired by the likes of Jean Louis Scherrer, his 1980s runway looks with a romanticism essence and bow spotlight. It features two large bows and a fitted silhouette with pearls individually embroidered onto the fabric. The dress is composed of satin ribbon, ivory duchess bridal fabric (main), white polycotton (lining), and faux ivory pearls. This garment was designed with a zero-waste pattern.

This garment was modelled by Alice Green and photographed by Eva Stoilova.

With explorative themes of connection, the nocturnal, and community, I designed this garment. The dress has themes of ethereal elegance and is made from iridescent organza, navy charmeuse (main), navy satin (lining), and faux pearls. The brief was about exploring fashion through conceptually through inspiration from objects and designing from that ideation.
